Should Trampolines Be Banned for Kids?

The American Academy of Pediatrics recently announced that it strongly discourages trampoline use for children, citing nearly 100,000 injuries in 2009, many of which happened despite parental supervision and safety netting. Opponents of the decision argue that this decision is an over-reach and injury is a part of childhood. What do you think of the AAP decision?
