Assessing the Effects of Families for Safe Dates, a Family-Based Teen Dating Abuse Prevention Program | Journal of Adolescent Health

In this article, results from a randomized evaluation of the first family-based teen dating abuse prevention program are presented. The program was effective in promoting changes in the family context that provide a foundation for preventing teen dating abuse over time, decreasing teen acceptance of dating abuse, and preventing dating abuse victimization.
