NIHCM’s Recent Presentations on Adolescent Health Literacy

NIHCM Foundation's research on adolescent health literacy was featured in two national conferences this March.

At the annual conference of the Association for Community Health Improvement, held from March 14-16, NIHCM Foundation staff members Kathryn Santoro, Director of Policy & Development, and Claire Speedling, Research and Policy Analyst, presented the Foundation's recent issue brief on adolescent health literacy. They were joined by Susan Zimny, Senior Manager, Health Care Service Corporation, and Peter Komendowski, President, Partnership for a Drug Free Iowa, who shared more details about their efforts to promote adolescent health literacy.

At the annual conference of the Southern Sociological Society, held from March 21-March 24, Kathryn Santoro presented the Foundation's adolescent health literacy work as part of an esteemed panel on health literacy.
