Jim Vetter, Ed.M. serves as a co-manager of the Child Safety Learning Collaborative. He has led development and provision of training and technical assistance for audiences including including public health professionals, behavioral health professionals, and educators, on topics including social and emotional learning, bullying, suicide, interpersonal violence, and child maltreatment. Before joining EDC, Mr. Vetter's work included directing statewide suicide prevention and youth violence prevention programs for the Center for Injury and Violence Prevention at the Virginia Department of Health; directing program development, training, and consultation activities for Open Circle, a nationally-recognized social and emotional learning program; and serving as an independent trainer and consultant for local, national, and international clients.
