CSN, in partnership with HRSA MCHB, facilitates the Children's Safety Now Alliance with participation by leaders and experts representing national organizations, federal agencies, state health departments, hospitals, and universities. The purpose of the Alliance is to reduce injury and violence-related fatal and serious injuries among infants, children, and adolescents. The Alliance is guided by a Steering Committee which works to raise awareness and develop resources on high priority and emerging issues in child safety. The Steering Committee provides technical assistance to Title V agencies participating in the Child Safety Learning Collaborative and helps to communicate the lessons and accomplishments of the Learning Collaborative to a broad national audience that includes public health professionals, funders, communities, and families.
The goals of the Children's Safety Now Alliance are:

- Communicate key child safety messages to multiple sectors and to non-traditional partners
- Expand the network of champions that support child safety
- Strengthen the theory/research/practice cycle
