Thank you for joining us on our State Technical Assistance Webinar (STAW) on April 18, 2019 from 1:00 – 2:30 PM.

The STAW was an interactive discussion focused on effective communication strategies, formal partnerships, and leadership engagement at all levels.  We heard from two guest speakers: Kerri Nickerson, LCSW, MPH, who is the Director of Grantee and State Initiatives at the Suicide Prevention Resource Center (SPRC), and Deena Liska, who is the Teen Driving Coordinator at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. Kerri shared her expertise in strategic planning to develop campaigns and partnerships, as well as examples in suicide prevention from SPRC.  Deena shared her experiences developing, testing, implementing, and spreading a statewide teen driver safety campaign.  We then related these concepts back to systems thinking and how to engage leadership at all levels of your system.

STAWs are open to all Title V agencies. Participating states and jurisdictions of the Child Safety Learning Collaborative are required to attend.

Our next STAW will be on June 20, 2019 from 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. ET.
