SERICN Community of Practice Webinar: Kids Dont Float A Drowning Prevention Program

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, more than one in five fatal drowning victims are children 14 years old and younger. For every child who dies from drowning, another four receive emergency department care for nonfatal submersion injuries. Sign up for this SERICN webinar and hear about the drowning prevention program, Kids Don’t Float, from Ron Perkins, the retired Executive Director of the Alaska Injury Prevention Center and Joe McCullough, the Education Coordinator for Alaska’s Office on Boating Safety.
